Flickertail Village Museum

Flickertail Village Museum, an open-air, walk-through museum, is a collection of several preserved and restored buildings, housing artifacts and items from the past. The museum tells a colorful story of early prairie settlements, and its displays depict the early settlers' way of life. Many of the items were donated by residents of Mountrail County.

 

The museum is located at 405 12th Avenue SE (just off of Highway 2), Stanley, ND and open between Memorial Day through Labor Day on Sundays - 2:00 - 4:00 p.m., Thursdays 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Volunteer workday is also on Thursdays during the hours noted.
